The thing about racism and hate is that it’s not the hated person’s fault that we hate them. They didn’t do anything to make us intolerant or angry or disgusted except be as they are.

If you want someone to hate, hate the people who raised you to hate, and hate the society that promoted it. Be angry that you feel those feelings, and be angry that you were brought up without that choice, and be angry that nobody stopped you from hating someone for no good reason other than the color of their skin or their religion or their gender, because it’s your right to be angry about that. You shouldn’t have to be filled with useless hate. You shouldn’t have to stand for it. You deserve a fair shake, too. I don’t know why more people don’t stand up for themselves for being taught the wrong thing. In school, when you say, “When are we ever going to need this?”and you’re talking about trigonometry or William Blake because you’re bored out of your mind, what you should actually be talking about is bigotry and hate, and you should be screaming it. Because you’re never going to need that shit. You’re really never going to need it. You’re better off learning how to change a tire or cook a pot roast than you are learning how to hate.
