The 2012 Oscars and The Bechdel Test (by feministfrequency)
I love that she emphasizes the fact that the Bechdel test is to evaluate overall trends in the industry rather than to label individual movies as bad for not passing. Also that she brings up the alternate version for characters of color.
Well, knock me over with a feather. Out of all 9 of the nominees for best film only two definitively passes the Bechdel Test and only ONE is female centred. :/
